Kedarkantha Trek

Kedar or Kedarnath is no other than Lord Shiva who is the most revered God of all Gods and Kantha is the throat of Shiva. Does this peak looks like throat ?Well , that mystery is left with you to reveal.From the myths apart, this trek is the most popular winter trek in Uttarakhand which can be done by any age group if the physical condition supports . Knee deep snow , thick vegetation of evergreen Alpines of Govind National Park, lush meadows, whisper of myths, stunning panorama of the peaks will take any trekkers to the cosmic world for a moment.

BALI PASS TREK

Bali Pass is a trekking route that connects the Yamunotri Valley to Har Ki Dun valley through Ruinsara lake. The landscapes of pine and fir forests, riverside camps, the surreal villages of Har Ki Dun valley, beautiful waterfalls, alpine lake of Ruinsara, meadows overlooking Swargarohini group of peaks along with Banderpunch massif etc. makes the trek more attractive to the trekkers.

Dehradun to Sankri 210 km 9 hours journey And stay at Surya Retreat.

Sankri (1920 M) – Taluka (2107 M) 12 Kms by Road & Trek from Taluka – Seema (2560 M), 14 km (6-7 Hours).

Seema Camp (2560 M) to Rainbasera (3086 M) – 9 km trek (5 hours).

Rainbasera (3086 M) to Ruinsara Tal (3565 M) – 9 km (4 hours).

Ruinsara Tal (3565 M) to Odari (4008 M) – 5 km (3 hours).

Odari to Bali Pass base 3 km.

Base (4308 M) to Lower Dhamni (3715 M) via Bali Pass (4950 M) – 10 km (8- hours).

Lower Dhamni (3915 M) to Jaan ki Chatti (2650 M) via Yamunotri – 9.5 km trek.

Departure from Janki Chatti for Dehradun on road.
